The main differnece is the texture and ease of applying. Whipped Tallow is light, and fluffy. Whipped tallow is eaier to apply to the face and delicate spots. It's also a bit easier to apply to little ones. With the solid balm, you'll have to scoop it out, heat it up in your hands and then apply. It's the same product, same ingredients and recipe.. just in different forms. The results will be the same and it will also feel the same once its rubbed in.

Tallow Balm is all natural with no toxins or nasties, meaning the scent, consistency, or colour can vary from batch to batch. We can assure you that we use the exact same ingredients and method each time. Because tallow is fat/oil based, it will get hard when it’s cold and will get smooth when warm. If it is hard, simply rub it between your hands to heat it up and then apply it to the desired area.

Well-rendered tallow skincare has a very mild, natural scent. At Genesis Tallow, we render and purify our tallow in-house to create a clean, neutral base with little to no lingering odor.

Our scented products are blended with pure essential oils for a soft, natural aroma, while our unscented options remain as close to neutral as possible.
